Crochet A Cotton Scrunchie Version NΒ°1
Hello my lovely crochet friends, I hope you are well. Today I am bringing to you a new tutorial on how to crochet a cotton scrunchie. I am very excited about this project because I have wanted to share this pattern for a while now.
You can as always find the video tutorial here: Crochet Cotton Scrunchie Video Tutorial on Youtube

Crochet a Cotton Scrunchie: version 1
So today I am bringing this cotton scrunchie pattern to you, and it is my first version. I have another pattern for a crochet scrunchie that I will be releasing next week. It’s really exciting to see how versatile crochet can be!
This first version of a scrunchie is made with a 100% cotton yarn. It is crocheted directly onto a basic hair elastic, and has a really frilly vibe to it. I love how feminine and delicate it looks. It is also a very easy project, so if you are a beginner crocheter, please do not be afraid. It is also a fairly quick project too.

To Crochet a Cotton Scrunchie makes a lovely gift
This quick and easy project makes a really lovely gift. It is also very budget friendly. I used 100% cotton yarn, one of which was Sirdar Cotton DK (a light 3 yarn), and the other was the end of a skein I needed to use up. So it is a great stash buster project. The result is so lovely and feminine too!
Crocheted with only 3 rounds, it is a very simple pattern. The first round consists of placing Single Crochets all around a simple hair elastic. Then you place 2 rounds of Double Crochets after that, one of which creates the pretty frilly effect. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I enjoyed creating it.
