Crochet Coquette Cup Coaster Free Pattern: A Unique Design

I love this crochet coaster design so much! Indeed, this is a very simple crochet pattern. I have been wanting to crochet a cup coaster for a long time, and I am very pleased with this design. A few years ago, I made a cute little cup cozy which I still love to this day (available on my blog for free).

This cup coaster design is so pretty and feminine! Indeed, it is inspired by the Coquette aesthetic. The Coquette aesthetic is so feminine and delicate, and very girly too! This cup coaster is made with feminine pastel colors. It features a simple flat circle. A lovely Single Crochet border is then added to the coaster.

Let me know if you enjoy making this crochet cup coaster. I know I loved crocheting these little coasters so much. These also make for a perfect gift too!

Crochet Coquette Cup Coaster Free Pattern: The Yarn

For this project, I used DK/Light 3 yarn for this project. Indeed, I used Bernat Softee Baby yarn, which is one of my favorite yarns ever. I love this yarn so much, as it is very delicate and high quality too.

The Rose Whisper Shawl is crocheted with Bernat Softee Baby. This crochet shawl is very lovely and also feminine. Softee Baby Yarn by Bernat is so pretty and delicate, and I do love using this yarn a lot. I have crocheted many projects using this yarn, and hope to use it even more in the future!

This yarn is made from 100% acrylic yarn, and it is very soft and of high quality. I love crocheting with this yarn so much; please let me know if you enjoy crocheting with this yarn too.

4” (10 cm) = 5 rounds of stitches

Size of finished project

4” (10 cm) x 14” (10 cm)

Materials

1 skein of Bernat Softee Baby in your preferred shade

1 skein of Bernat Softee baby in shade Antique White

4 mm crochet hook

A tapestry needle

A pair of scissors

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

Sk: skip

St: Stitch

Sl st: Slip stitch

HDC: Half Double Crochet (UK Half Treble Crochet)

SC: Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet)

EOR: End of round

Pattern begins here

Ch 4 and sl st to form a ring.

1: Ch 2 (=HDC), place 11 HDC inside the ring (=12 HDC total). Sl st to 1^st ch 2 to close off round.

2: Ch 2 (=HDC), place another HDC inside the first stitch (=2 HDC together in one stitch). Place 2 HDC inside next HDC until eor (=24 HDC total). Sl st to 1^st ch 2 to close off round.

3: Ch 2 (=HDC), place another HDC inside the first stitch (=2 HDC together in one stitch). Place HDC in next st, [2 HDC in next st, 1 HDC in next st] until eor (=36 HDC total). Sl st to 1^st ch 2 to close off round.

4: Ch 2 (=HDC), place another HDC inside the first stitch (=2 HDC together in one stitch). Place HDC in next 2 st, [2 HDC in next st, HDC in next 2 st] until eor (=40 HDC total). Sl st to 1^st ch 2 to close off round.

Fasten off 1^st shade, attach shade Antique White to same stitch.

5: Ch 1 (=SC), place a SC into next stitch until eor. Sl st to 1^st ch 1 to close off round.

Fasten off and tidy up all loose ends.
