Crochet Face Mask Extender/Ear Savers
Crochet Face Mask Extender
Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Today I am bringing to you a tutorial on how to crochet face mask extender/ear savers.
It’s very easy, and quick! It is a 10 minutes project that requires minimal crochet and sewing skills, so perfect for beginners! It’s also great if you are en expert crocheter.
This is a very good project for these times when we are all wearing a face mask outside. It makes wearing a mask more comfortable. This version of a face mask extender is very feminine. You will definitely attract compliments with this project!
It can be easily made for a man. Indeed, you can just skip the frilly edging and place masculine buttons onto it. This crochet project is very versatile.

How to crochet Face Mask Extender/Ear Savers
To crochet this project it’s very simple. You will simply crochet the body of the ear savers, before adding the frilly edging. Then you will sew the buttons onto the ear savers. It’s super easy and quick!
Like I said, you can also make a man version. So it’s a win win.
This pattern requires a multiple of 2+1 for the base chain. You can therefore customize the project really easily. You can add some chains to make it larger, or make less chains if you make one for a child.
The buttons used are super feminine, I love them. They just add so much charm to the project. They are 18 mm buttons available online, so very well worth buying. You can however place any buttons you have at hand for your crochet ear savers/face mask extender.

I have written up a free pattern you can download. It can be so helpful to have the written instructions at hand when you are crocheting. I know I like to have my patterns close by!
