Crochet Festival Headband Free Pattern: The Inspiration
I love crocheting festival and Boho projects for the Spring and Summer season. Crochet looks so wonderful in all seasons! In Spring and Summer I love to prioritize cotton and bamboo yarn. This lovely cotton headband was the first one I ever made for my channel and blog, and it is still to this day a very popular design. It is both feminine and delicate, and perfect to make for friends and family too.

The Shell Stitch Headband is also a great accessory for these warmer Spring and Summer months. It is very pretty and dainty too. I love these crochet hairbands for the warmer season, and I hope you do too! As I said above, I love to crochet cotton and lightweight projects during this time. If you are interested in crocheting a larger project, you could make this lovely cotton Summer Cardigan. Made with the beautiful Caron Angel Cake, this is a very lightweight and comfortable project for the warmer season.
I really want to make both small and larger projects this Spring and Summer. Indeed, I love the Boho Coachella vibes a crochet project can have when made with cotton yarn for example. The Summer Sunset Shawl is a perfect crochet design for the new season. The Sunburst Granny Square Tote Bag is also perfect for festival season!

Crochet Festival Headband Free Pattern: The Design
For this new crochet headband pattern, I wanted to do a simple yet feminine design. I used the Double Crochet stitch for this project. Two rows are alternated in this pattern to create the filet crochet effect at the center. Once the full length of the headband is finished, it is sewed onto an elastic band to secure and fasten it.
For this project I used Drops Muskat yarn. I really love this yarn as it is a very high quality 100% mercerized cotton yarn. It is both soft and shiny. I have already used this yarn to crochet this lovely and femine French beret. Drops Muskat was also used to crochet this beautiful Cottagecore Bandana more recently.

Let me know if you enjoy crocheting with cotton yarns when it is sunnier outside. It is such a nice change from the chunkier projects made during the Winter months. I know I really enjoy these lighter projects, and looks forward to making more!
