Crochet Granny Square In Different Colors Free Pattern: The Inspiration
It is no secret that I love crocheting granny squares. Indeed, granny squares are some of my favorite things to crochet. Granny squares look so perfect and are fun to make. The repetitiveness of granny squares is very soothing and therapeutic.
A few years ago, I made this tutorial for the classic granny squares. I genuinely love making this very simple tutorial and free pattern. Let me know if you love crocheting granny squares as much as I! I love crocheting granny squares so much, that I created many different versions of a granny square. The Buttercup Flower Square is very dainty and unique, perfect if you are looking for a granny square with a twist.
The Enchanting Vintage Granny Square is also perfect if you are looking for a unique and slightly different square. I love crocheting these different projects, as they look so pretty and vintage too.
Crochet Granny Square In Different Colors Free Pattern: An Easy Project
As I stated earlier in this blog post, granny squares are versatile and fun to make. Taking a classic granny square and crocheting it with different colors is so much fun! This crochet square looks so perfect, and again it is very versatile as it can be made in any color of your choice.
For this project, I made this granny square with chunky yarn and a 6 millimeter crochet hook. I used Scheepjes yarn Chunky Monkey in shades Blush, Rose and Deep Fushia. These three different colors look beautiful and are perfect for this granny square pattern.
This pattern can be adapted to your preference of course. This means you can use any color you prefer, and any yarn weight you like. You will have to use the crochet hook mentioned on the yarn packet to match the yarn you have chosen.
I hope you enjoy this new crochet tutorial and free pattern. Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this crochet project.
