Hi everyone, today I am bringing to you the crochet Lilac Hair bow (free pattern). This crochet bow is both feminine and delicate, and it is very easy to make. Crocheted with a wonderful yarn containing wool, this hair bow makes a great crochet gift too.

Crochet Lilac Hair Bow Free Pattern: A Lovely Design
This crochet hair bow is super easy to make and it is very pretty too. It is crocheted with Papatya Angora yarn. I have used this yarn prior for the Belle Victorian shawl, and I loved this yarn so much! This wrap is perfect if you want to make a matching item for this hair bow.
I love hair bows so much, as they are so pretty and trendy. A few months ago, I crocheted another delicate hair bow. This hair bow is also very lovely, and it features a great filet crochet design. Hair bows are very popular at the moment, and they look perfect in all seasons.
Most recently, I made this lovely hair bow more recently. It is crocheted with red cotton yarn, and it is perfect for the Christmas season.
Crochet Lilac Hair Bow Free Pattern: A Simple Design
This crochet hair bow features a simple yet elegant design. It features a lovely half double crochet pattern (one row repeat). This is a simple design and it is very easy to crochet too. A long rectangle is crocheted with half double crochets. Once this rectangle is crocheted, it is folded over to create the bow shape. All of this is explained in the pattern below.
This makes for a great crochet gift for a birthday or Christmas for example. I crocheted this hair bow with light 2/fingering yarn. However this crochet hair bow can be made by another fingering or a light 3/DK yarn of your choice.
I hope you enjoy this new design. Let me know in the comments if you enjoy this crochet project, and don’t forget to follow me on social media and subscribe to my newsletter.

Notes concerning this pattern
For this project, we will start by crocheting the initial rectangle shape of the bow.
Once this is completed, the bow shape will be given to the project by folding the project a certain way and then adding the center piece (as explained below in the pattern).
After this part is done, we will simply be sewing the hair slide to the crocheted bow.
Begin pattern here
To start, make a slip knot.
Ch 13
1: HDC into the 3rd ch from the hook, and HDC into each ch across (the first ch 2 counts as a HDC).
2: Ch 2 (=HDC), turn your work, HDC into next stitch until eor (including ch 2 from previous row).
3-109: Repeat row 2.
Fasten off, tidy up all loose ends.
Create the center part of the bow (create shape)
Place your project on a flat surface, with the back part facing you. Fold your project over as seen in photograph below.
Take your yarn and attach it around the center of the project.
Tighten yarn gently so as to create the bow shape.
Now wrap your yarn around center of project approximately 80 times (see photo below):
To finish off this part, tie your yarn at the back of bow. Fasten off and tidy up all loose ends.
Sew the hair slide onto the back of the project:
Place the hair slide at the center of the back of the project. With darning needle and thread, sew the hair slide onto the back of the project as seen in photograph below:
To finish off this project, fasten off and tidy up all loose ends.
