Crochet Romantic Boho Shawl Free Pattern: The Granny Triangle Shawl
This feminine and delicate shawl features the lovely granny triangle stitch. This stitch is so beautiful and relaxing to crochet, and is one of the most classic crochet stitches. I really love this stitch, which is the stitch I used for the Juliette Wrap.
This is a lovely crochet technique that I had not used in over a year, and I felt inspired to create a new crochet wrap featuring this stitch. If you love the granny triangle, you can check out The Rainbow Shawl which is one of my favorite projects to date. The granny triangle stitch is such a classic crochet stitch that I just love so much! Let me know in the comments if you enjoy this technique as much as I.
I love how relaxing and soothing this stitch is. It is also really lovely and versatile, as you can see. I also crocheted The Mermaid Shawl from two years ago. The granny triangle stitch is so beautiful and I think I will be using it many more times in the future. I added the frilly Double Crochet border to this project, which I think looks so beautiful too. This frilly border elevates the look of this project so much!
Crochet Romantic Boho Shawl Free Pattern: The Yarn
For this crochet shawl, I used Rico Creative Wool Degrade yarn. As some of you may know, I really love this yarn. It is one of my favorite Winter yarns to crochet with. I have crocheted with this lovely yarn so many times!
I crocheted one of my favorite projects to date with this yarn, The Fantine Shawl. This yarn is very delicate and I love all the different colors that are available in this range. Recently, I crocheted The Rose Petal Shawl with this yarn. I love crocheting shawls with this yarn, as it seems absolutely perfect for this purpose. Let me know if you have any other ideas on what to crochet with this beautiful yarn. Indeed, I wonder if crocheting a cardigan or maybe a hat with this yarn would be a good idea?
This yarn is very fine, and therefore I used a 4,5 mm crochet hook for this pattern. This yarn’s composition is as follows: 30% wool and 70% acrylic. This makes this yarn perfect for Winter projects!
Let me know if you enjoy crocheting with this yarn as much as I!
