Crochet Rose Garden Scarf Free Pattern

Hi everyone, today I am bringing to you the crochet Rose Garden scarf (free pattern). This crochet pattern is both lovely and feminine, perfect for the colder months. I crocheted this delicate yarn with a soft and fluffy yarn; this makes a perfect Christmas gift too.

The video tutorial for this project can be found here:

Crochet Rose Garden Scarf Free Pattern: A Simple Design

This simple crochet design is so pretty and easy to crochet. Indeed, this crochet scarf is very dainty and features a lovely little Half Double Crochet row repeat throughout. Once the entire scarf is crocheted, a very simple and elegant Single Crochet edging is added all around.

I love the elegant simplicity of this scarf! Indeed, this simple row repeat is perfect if you are a beginner too. This one row repeat is very therapeutic to crochet, perfect for a cozy and relaxing night in. A few years ago I crocheted the soft and fluffy scarf, which is very similar.

Please let me know in the comments if you enjoy crocheting these simple yet stunning projects. I find these make great crochet gifts, and they work up quickly because they are made with chunky yarn.

Crochet Rose Garden Scarf Free Pattern: The Yarn

For this project, I used a lovely and soft yarn called Caron Colorama Halo in shade Rose Garden. This yarn is so perfect and easy to use. Last year, I crocheted this Victorian Shawl, which is a delicate and feminine shawl featuring a hood.

Personally, I absolutely love the way the colors blend and switch when crocheted. It creates an almost ethereal design that is very dainty and feminine too. I love crochet scarves and I have a feeling I will be making many more this season.

Indeed, I think these simple and feminine designs are so perfect for many different seasons. Please don’t hesitate to subscribe to my weekly newsletter so that you never miss a single crochet pattern!

Ch: chain

St: Stitch

Sl st: slip stitch

Sk: Skip

HDC: Half Double Crochet (UK Half Treble Crochet)

SC: Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet)

EOR: End of row/end of round

To begin

To start, make a slip knot.

Ch 24

1: HDC into 3rd ch from hook (first ch 2 counts as a HDC); HDC into every chain across.

2: Ch 2 (=HDC throughout), HDC into next stitch until eor.

3-121: repeat row 2.

Do not fasten off.

Simple Single Crochet edging

Crochet Easy Scarf
Add a Single Crochet edging all around the scarf

Ch 1 (=counts as first SC); place a SC all around the 4 sides of the scarf; the longer sides of the scarf are the “row” sides, so there will not be a specific stitch into which you can crochet, so please make sure you space your SC across these sides evenly.

There is no specific number of SC you will need for this part.

Once you have gone around all 4 sides, slip stitch through the first ch 1 to close off round.

Fasten off, tidy up your loose ends.
