Notes concerning this pattern
For this project, we will start by crocheting the initial rectangle shape of the bow.
Once this is completed, the bow shape will be given to the project by folding the project a certain way and then adding the center piece (as explained below in the pattern).
After this part is done, we will simply be sewing the hair slide to the crocheted bow.
Begin pattern here
To start, make a slip knot.
Ch 12
1: HDC into the 4th ch from the hook (first chain 3 counts as HDC and chain 1); chain 1, sk 1 stitch, HDC into the next stitch until eor.
2: Ch 3 (=HDC+ch 1), turn your work, sk 1 stitch, HDC into next stitch; *ch 1, sk 1 stitch, HDC into next stitch. Repeat from * until eor.
3-75: repeat row 2.
Do not fasten off.
Add Single Crochet border
Place Single Crochets all around your project; Make sure you place Single Crochets evenly all around the 4 sides of this rectangle (there is no specific number of Single Crochets you need for this part).
Create the center part of the bow (create shape)
Place your project on a flat surface, with the back part facing you. Fold your project over as seen in photograph below.
Take your yarn and attach it around the center of the project.
Tighten yarn gently so as to create the bow shape.
Now wrap your yarn around center of project approximately 25 times (see photo below):
To finish off this part, tie your yarn at the back of bow. Fasten off and tidy up all loose ends.
Sew the hair slide onto the back of the project
Place the hair slide at the center of the back of the project. With darning needle and thread, sew the hair slide onto the back of the project as seen in photograph below:
To finish off this project, fasten off and tidy up all loose ends.
