Crochet The Lovely Pink Shrug: the inspiration

I absolutely love crocheting cardigans and shrugs, and I was looking for a new crochet shrug/cardigan for this Spring. It is no secret that my favorite color is pink. I love pink so much, and it had occurred to me that I hadn’t crocheted a cardigan or shrug in my favorite color.

If you love pink as much as me, you can check out my my Summer pink poncho. It’s a super easy and also elegant project to crochet, perfect for Spring and Summer.

Going back to my new pink shrug. This project is super perfect for anyone, and the inclusive sizes make it perfect for gifts too. Let me know if you make this beautiful project. I know I love how it turned out.

Crochet The Lovely Pink Shrug: a Treble Crochet C2C project

For this crochet shrug, a Treble Crochet C2C square is first worked up. My free pattern down below goes through each step of this project with a lot of precision. Increase and decrease rows are explained very clearly, as well as the way to assemble this cardigan.

This is a great staple for every season

I love the Treble Crochet C2C stitch. Indeed, it is slightly different from the classic Double Crochet stitch. It elevates this simple but beautiful stitch, making it perfect for an elegant garment. It is also a very therapeutic stitch to crochet, and is my go to when I really need a relaxing project to crochet.
