This feminine and easy scrunchie is perfect also if you are looking for a more elaborate pattern for a scrunchie.

For this crochet pattern, I used Bernat Velvet yarn. I love this yarn so much, as it so soft and velvety. It creates a lovely and simple scrunchie that can be worn at any time. It is also elegant and comfortable to wear due to the fact that it is made from velvet. I also love this lacy and feminine scrunchie, which is crocheted with cotton yarn.

Crochet Velvet Scrunchie Free Pattern: An Under Ten Minutes Project

Materials

1 skein of Bernat Velvet Yarn

A 6 mm crochet hook

A tapestry needle

A pair of scissors

Simple elastic band

Abbreviations

Ch: Chain

Sl st: Slip stitch

DC: Double Crochet (UK Treble Crochet)

Start pattern here

Tie velvet yarn around elastic band

Ch 1 (=turning chain), place DCs all around the elastic band. Scrunch up the DCs as you go, so as to add more DCs, and have a “frilly” look.

Once you are satisfied with the appearance of your scrunchie, slip stitch through the first 3 ch and fasten off.

Tidy up all loose ends.
