How to crochet a simple flower

Hello my lovelies, today we will learn how to crochet a simple flower.

Today I wanted to share my way of making very simple and decorative flowers to crochet. They are super easy to make, and you can make them in any yarn and colour that you wish, making them a great versatile project to adorn your handmade creations.

Made simply with Single Crochets and Double crochets, these flowers are very easy to crochet.

The flowers

I used these simple flowers to decorate my boho and romantic headband with flowers which you can find on this blog : Crochet Romantic Headband with Flowers

These flowers are very easy to make, and you can make them in one or two colors (like me). I hope you enjoy this pattern, let me know in the comments. They are very sweet looking, and depending on which yarn and hook you use, they will be small or large, making them a great versatile addition to any crochet pattern you are creating. I know I will be using this pattern for flowers for many more of my crochet patterns in the future! I have created a video tutorial and a written pattern for these sweet and simple flowers, and the links are down below.

Flowers really convey a pure and sweet feeling into any handmade project, and these can be great if you are a scrap booker or even if you want to create a cute adornment for a child project too. Let me know if you used these in any of your projects, as I just love to see your creations with my pattern! Flowers are very romantic and feminine looking, so these are definitely part of my favourite crochet patterns to make. They are reminiscent of times past, when long gowns and long delicate wraps were worn by women. Today, these would look great on a hat, headband, wrap or as a patch for jeans too!
