Crochet Easy Ribbed Scarf
Hi everyone, I hope you are well! Today I am bringing to you this Crochet Easy Ribbed Scarf.
The pastel colours of Caron Baby Cakes really inspired me with the gentle and harmonious tones of the yarn. Crocheted in shade Ballerina, it worked up so quickly and beautifully, that I managed to film and edit my video tutorial today! I was so pleased to be able to share this project with you today.
As always, I filmed a Youtube video tutorial for this project: Crochet Ribbed Scarf Video Tutorial

Crochet Easy Ribbed Scarf with Caron Baby Cakes
I absolutely love Caron Baby Cakes, either for baby blankets, or adult clothes and accessories, and it never disappoints me. This yarn is very soft and pretty, and is an absolute delight to crochet with. Indeed, it glides onto the hook very easily, making it very easy and quick to work up projects.
I used it in the past for a baby blanket (the pattern is up on the blog), and also a cardigan for myself, and both came out really lovely. The yarn washes very well too, and has such a soft cuddly feel to it that each time I use it, I only want to use this yarn forever after!
Shade Ballerina: a feminine mix of colours
The shade Ballerina is very feminine and delicate, and perfect for the pattern of this ribbed scarf. I had wanted a soft, long ribbed scarf for a long time, and when I saw this yarn, I thought it would be a great opportunity to use it to that purpose.

Crochet Easy Ribbed Scarf: Behind the Pattern
Worked up in repeats of double crochets, it is a perfect project to relax with, or if you are a crochet novice, this is a great crochet garment to make. It is very quick and easy to make. The quality of the yarn make it lovely to crochet with. I love the fact that it is ribbed too, because it gives this otherwise simple scarf a bit of an edgy vibe to it, which I love.
I love creating patterns where textures and colours complement each other, and this was no exception. Truthfully, I think I will be making many more of these scarfs in the future. I definitely think this pattern makes a great last minute gift for someone special in your life.
