Crochet Feminine Bow Free Pattern

Hi everyone, this week I am bringing to you this crochet feminine bow (free pattern). This fun and feminine crochet project is perfect for beginners, and looks beautiful in all seasons. I love bows so much, and thought it was time for me to release a design for a simple yet feminine bow.

The video tutorial for this project can be found here:

Crochet Feminine Bow Free Pattern: The Yarn

For this project, I used Lion Brand Coboo yarn. Coboo is one of my favorite yarns, and it is made from 50% cotton and 50% bamboo. This yarn is one of my favorite yarns, and it is very soft and beautiful to crochet with. I have used this yarn many times.

Indeed, I have made this vintage hair scarf with this bamboo yarn. This is a great project for beginners, and it is part of my Vintage Crochet series. This lovely feminine patchwork cardigan is also crocheted with Coboo yarn by Lion Brand Yarns. If you are looking for smaller accessories made with this yarn, you can check out this two toned lacy scrunchie or romantic boho headband. I also love crocheted shawls and wraps, and I did crochet this delicate romantic mesh shawl with Coboo yarn.

Crochet Feminine Bow Free Pattern: The Inspiration

I was inspired to crochet this feminine bow pattern because these are so beautiful and versatile. Indeed, you can add a little crochet bow to your hair or a sweater for example. This design that I crocheted can be customized to different sizes. Indeed, the pattern indicates how to crochet a smaller and a bigger bow (following the same pattern).

If you enjoy this bow pattern, you will probably also like this vintage hair scarf pattern and this romantic hair ribbon. These two designs are also very feminine accessories, perfect to crochet as gifts or for yourself.

For this project, we will start by crocheting the initial rectangle shape of the bow in the rounds.

Once this is completed, the bow shape will be given to the project by adding the center piece (as explained below in the pattern).

Begin pattern here

To start, make a slip knot.

Ch 50, slip stitching to 1st ch to create a circle shape. Please make sure you are not twisting the chain when you slip stitch.

Round 1: Ch 2 (=HDC), HDC into next chain until end of chain. Sl st to 1st st to close off round.

Round 2: Ch 2 (=HDC), HDC into next stitch until eor. Sl st to 1st st to close off round.

Round 3-11: Repeat round 2.

Fasten off, tidy up all loose ends.

Create the center part of the bow (create shape)

Place your project on a flat surface, with the back part facing you. Make sure the seam of the project is centered (as seen in photograph below).
