Crochet The Elena Boho Wrap
Crochet The Elena Boho Wrap
Hello everyone, this week I am bringing to you a brand new project, on how to crochet The Elena Boho wrap. This is a very easy crochet project. The variegated colors are stunning, and I added fringes too. Fringes look so beautiful on a wrap, and add an instant bohemian vibe to any garment. This easy crochet shawl pattern is made using the very easy triangle granny stitch.
You can find the video tutorial for this project here:
Crochet The Elena Boho Wrap: the inspiration
I was inspired to crochet this wrap last year. Last Spring, I crocheted quite a few garments for the therapeutic effects of it. The means I ended up with quite a few more projects completed than I could film or write out patterns for. So I ended up with a pile of crocheted projects, ready to be filmed and the pattern written out.
The Polina Half Circle Shawl, which I released last month, is also one of these projects I made last year. I love these beautiful projects so much, and am very much excited to be able to bring these to you finally. This time lapse also means I had more time to create the perfect crochet project. I have added a beautiful trimming to the Elena Wrap, with beautiful fringes, which I adore.
You can also subscribe to my weekly newsletter, where you will be the first to know of a new free crochet pattern release, new video tutorial, and any giveaway I may be doing. I would love for you to subscribe!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, have a lovely week,
Lots of love,
Selina.

Fringe edging:
Attach Paintbox Simply DK yarn to one edge of the wrap.
Ch 1, SC into next stitch, and into each stitch until eor
Once you reach eor, fasten off, tidy up all loose ends.
For the fringe edging:
Wrap your yarn around a book (measuring about 6″ in width) 4 times. Slip the yarn gently off the book, cut the bottom part of the loops holding the top part with your fingers firmly. With the help of your hook or tapestry needle, attach all 4 strands of yarn into the first stitch of the SC edging. Create a knot at the edge of the shawl for each piece of fringe.
Now, place fringes into each 7 or 8 stitches across the border. Make sure your place a fringe at the center V spot, as well as into the very last SC of the border.
Trim each fringe to make them equal and tidy.
