Crochet L’Artiste French Boho Wrap Free Pattern: A Simple Design
This crochet project is very Boho, perfect for all seasons. It is also a very feminine and delicate project to make. I live this project so much! The Cafe Des Arts Wrap is a Boho crochet wrap I made a few years ago; I made this project with Caron Cotton Cake yarn too. This is a very bohemian wrap that I love so much too!
I love crochet shawls so much. Last week I released The Therese Vintage Prayer Shawl, and I love this new elegant shawl so much. I have recently starting crocheting wraps with cotton yarn, and I really like it. The Vintage Eponine Shawl is also crocheted with cotton Aran yarn. This creates a very lovely shawl that can be worn in all seasons.
I really enjoy this crochet shawls so much. Indeed, I enjoy crocheting many different shawls; I love rectangular and V shaped crochet wraps equally. The Edwardian Rose Wrap is rectangular and is so elegant and beautiful too!
Crochet L’Artiste French Boho Wrap Free Pattern: Behind The Name
L’Artiste French Boho Wrap is so elegant and feminine. I was inspired to name this wrap “L’Artiste” (which means the artist in French) because it is bohemian and puts me in mind of French elegance and poise. Indeed, I can imagine wearing this wrap in a French cafe, as well as out and about, wearing it as a scarf.
The Round Boho Bag would match this wrap so well! This textured French beret would also match this new crochet wrap really well!
This beautiful boho fringed wrap is also in the same vibe; I love bohemian crochet and I really enjoyed crocheting this boho wrap.
For this newest project, I used Caron Cotton yarn, and I really enjoyed crocheting with this yarn! It is so beautiful and soft; perfect for many different projects.

Sl st: slip stitch
Sk: Skip
Sp: space
HDC: Half Double Crochet (Half Treble Crochet)
SC: Single Crochet (UK Double Crochet)
EOR: End of row
To begin
To start, make a slip knot.
1: Ch.5, HDC into 3rd chain from hook, HDC into next 2 st, 2 HDC into last chain.
2: Ch.2 (counts as your 1st HDC), turn your work, HDC into same 1st stitch (=2 HDC together), HDC into each st along, 2 HDC into last st.
3-76: Repeat row 2.
Do not fasten off.
Single Crochet Border
We will be placing the border on the 3 different sides of this triangle, starting on the side where we finished the last row (we didn’t fasten off).
Ch 1 (=does not count as a stitch), place a SC evenly all across the first “side” of the triangle. There is no set number of SCs you should place, however make sure that you place enough SCs across this edge as SCs tend to “tighten” a project.
Once you have reached the end of this first side, continue placing SCs all across the next side. Once this is completed, repeat process on the third and last side of this shawl.
Once you have placed your last SC on this last side, slip stitch through the first ch 1 we created.
Fasten off, tidy up all loose ends.
