Hi everyone, today I am bringing to you this crochet delicate hair ribbon (free pattern). This new crochet design is so feminine and dainty! I love it already. It is also part of my Vintage Crochet Series. I hope you enjoy this lovely and versatile accessory.

Crochet Delicate Hair Ribbon Free Pattern: The Inspiration

I really love crocheted ribbons (and bows). Indeed, I have crocheted quite a few of these in the past. Last year I crocheted this romantic hair ribbon, which is so dainty and feminine. Both today’s and last year’s ribbon patterns are part of my Vintage Crochet Series.

This newest hair ribbon design creates a lovely and delicate accessory which can be worn in the hair, but also adorn another crochet project. Indeed, I decorated my latest bag design with a feminine ribbon. I love the Cottagecore vibes that ribbons give!

At the moment, I also really enjoy crocheting bows. This past year, I have crocheted the Delicate Rose Hair Bow, which is so beautiful and feminine. The Dainty Hair Bow is also very beautiful, perfect for the coming Spring and Summer.

Crochet Delicate Hair Ribbon Free Pattern: The Yarn

For this project, I used Drops Muskat yarn. This yarn is 100% mercerized cotton yarn, perfect for hair accessories and bags for example. I used this yarn recently for this romantic ribbon bag, and for the Therese Vintage Prayer Shawl I released last week.

I love how soft this yarn is. It is also very versatile and long lasting, as well as cost efficient. Last Summer I crocheted this beautiful flower headband with lots of different colors, and I loved the effect! This dainty and feminine purse is also crocheted with this lovely yarn (and it features a bow too!).

Materials

1 skein of Drops Muskat in shade 02 (or your preferred color)

A 4 mm crochet hook

A tapestry needle

A pair of scissors

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

Sk: skip

St: Stitch

Sl st: Slip stitch

EOR: End of row

Pattern begins here

Ch 200

Row 1: Slip stitch through second chain, and each chain across until eor.

Fasten off, tidy up all loose ends.
