This delicate twist headband I made a few years ago is also a great and fast project to make. It is made with finer yarn than the one I used for this new project.

The Soft Dreams Headband is also a wonderful pattern, as it is warm and cozy. These headbands are perfect for beginners too. The Delicate Rose Headband is also made with chunky wool, and features a lovely knit look stitch. These are just some examples of headbands and ear warmers crocheted for the colder months.

Crochet Easy Headband Ear Warmers Free Pattern: A Fast Project

This crocheted headband can be made in under 10 minutes. Indeed, this sweet and easy crochet headband is perfect if you want a fast project. This crochet pattern features a very simple pattern and super chunky yarn (known as super bulky yarn by American standards).

I bought my yarn in a little shop in the North of England. This yarn is called Cable Knit Yarn, and isn’t easily found. However, you can use either Paintbox Simply Super Chunky Yarn, or Crazy Sexy Wool yarn by Wool And The Gang.

Gauge

4” (10 cm) = 4 rows

4” (10 cm) = 6 stitches

Size of finished project

3,5” (9 cm) x 11” (28 cm)

I will be using US terms (British terms in brackets).

Materials

1 skein of Paintbox Simply Super Chunky yarn in shade Champagne White (or any other super chunky yarn of your preference).

A 10 mm crochet hook

A tapestry needle

A pair of scissors

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

Sk: skip

SP: space

Sl st: Slip stitch

HDC: Half Double Crochet (UK Half Treble Crochet)

EOR: End of round

Pattern begins here

Ch 32, sl st to first ch to form a circle (making sure you don’t twist the chain).

Row 1: Ch 2 (=HDC), HDC into next stitch until eor; sl st to the first ch 2 to close off round.

Row 2-3: Repeat round 1.

Fasten off.
